Internships
We love taking on keen people for lab experience with us, but we absolutely do not host unpaid internships under any circumstances. If you’re an undergraduate or postgraduate student and want to undertake an integral, assessed research project part of your studies with us, we’d love to hear from you. If you’re looking for a vacation internship and are prepared to apply for support from a scheme such as the Wellcome Trust Vacation Scholarships, wonderful. And if you’re a school student looking for work experience on the amazing In2Science or Nuffield placement schemes, that’s fantastic. But sorry, we do not simply take on ‘volunteers’ – here’s why.
